Manoj Misra
Manoj is Founder and CEO of AUGTICS Systems and Services Private Limited, a company that is focused on providing Predictive Analytics Solutions to select industry verticals. Prior to setting up AUGTICS, Manoj was working with RMSI(www.RMSI.com), a Global IT services company. Manoj played several roles at RMSI and was yougest member of RMSI management team and RMSI Board. Manoj graduated as a civil Engineer from UOR(now IIT Roorkee) and then specialized in Water Resources Management from IIT Delhi. He also got executive management trainings from AOTS Japan, Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and Pragmatic Marketing USA.

Hi i am sadish and i am basically a Geomatics engineer also i have competed my bachelor’s in Information technology. i am 2007 pass out from CEG guindy. Currently associated with infosys for past 9 months. I got opputunity to work with indian geomatics industry, but the kind of work did not fasinate me. I wish to work in some advanced geomatics and information technology in the area of RFID, LBS and mapping solutions. Can you suggest me on this?

Ltd with 2 yeras experience but i am not satisfied with my jobs.Because GIS is the future technology and i have spend 4 years in related topics and in this company i dont utilise my intelligence.So i request you kindly give me some company address where i can utilise my intelligence.

Please do not settle in GIS. It sucks your energy and life. Its betterto join in any small company as a software programmer even if you get Rs/ 5000/- salary. because after you can get 20000 P/M easily. In india we are not even using 2% of GIS technology. It will take atleast 20 years to be able to use 20% of GIS in india. I have got 10 years of GIS exp. Indian GIS companies, use man power where we don’t use brain. even a 10th pass/fail person can do the work of what a M.Tech Remote sensing guy or gal would do.
Hence I request all highly talented people opt for software else, study MBA.

You seem to be a knowledgeable person. I have a question for you. I am in the US and have been using a GPS system since last 3 years. India is highly techno driven but there are no companies working in that area as per my knowledge. I heard about Genesys International and see that that company is promoted by some financial guys like Sajid Malik.
When will I be able to buy true GPS systems and maps for India?
I think you also work for Genesys international? Why did you join such a small company instead of RMSI?
